I love this skirt yes I do!

I decided to brave it out today and not wear any tights with it but it was pretty cold out so it wasn't the best idea. The weather here has been pretty fickle lately so with the sight of sun and clear skies I decided to go for it.

I managed to buy a lot of vintage clothing in my last trip to the Dominican Republic so don't be surprised if you see it popping up in my next few post!

A couple of days ago I decided to wear this awesome vintage dress I found in a flea market in the Dominican Republic. I seriously love everything about this dress, the sleeves, the print and the collar just do it for me! It was originally below the knees and I just hemmed it to make it a little shorter, Oh and did I mention I got it for one of the equivalent of $1.50! SCORE!

So this week I returned back to school and started my internship with John Varvatos. It's been a crazy week trying to get back into the rhythm of things but I shall get through it! haha

Dominican Republic part II

I've been home for a couple days now and seeing these pictures makes me want to go back to that warm weather and have the beaches just a couple of minutes away. I had a great time visiting family and friends and traveling around the island. I'll be sure to visit again soon because I miss it already!

The weather over here has been hot hot hot so different from cold New York!

I've only been here for 3 days but so far I've visited family and met new little members. I've shopped at some of the markets that are filled with great vintage pieces and I've eaten soo much yummy food! I'm currently staying at my cousins house that has amazing views of the beach and mountains! Don't worry I'll be sure to post some pictures up soon!

These past couple of days have been super busy with birthday festivities, road trips with lovely friends, and getting ready for my trip to the Dominican Republic on Sunday! It's been a while since that last time I've visited so i'm super excited!
