Merry Christmas

Well Christmas is coming to an end and I hope all of you girls have had a nice holiday!
I hope you got everything you wished for and much much more.As I write this it is raining out side and its kind of a bummer because I wish it was snow!
But oh well.. at least I still have some cookies left over that I made last night. =]

I sewed little buttons on to my old flats! I know adorable =]

snow day!

Over the past two days I've been snowed in,
we got tons of snow and no school
so what does that call for?
Many cups of warm tea!
So by not getting out of my house I decided I would
make some jewelry and update my etsy shop.. go on take a look!

Two weeks ago me Ashley and some other friends went to the Marc Jacobs store on Bleeker street to get some holiday shopping done but to my disappointment I just got a couple of things like key chains!
NOT what I had in mind..
So now I have to make another trip there soon to pick up a couple of more things..cute little door we saw while on line!

cute mittens Ashley!

PS. my outfit was inspired by the amazing blog the snail and the cyclops!

I went thrifting the other day with my mom and got a couple of cool things..
the green bag was only $6!
more outfit posts soon to come!

ps. Check out Ashley's cute shoes..
I'm so jealous of her she found them at urban outfitters!
pps. I'm updating my etsy shop soon. =]

Have you been naughty or nice?

Say hello to my beautiful Christmas tree!!
I was was planing on doing it strictly black and white but my mom bought me mini Christmas trees in purple so I guess I had to incorporate that color into it.. I'm very happy with the way it came out, the lights, the hand made skirt, the ornaments it sure got me into the holiday spirit.
So by being randomly spurred with inspiration
I came up with two looks that I thought would go great with this post.
Enjoy xox.

BCBG Dress, black hobo Bag nyc

Betsey Johnson dress,
thrifted black lace dress (underneath),
BCBG shoes.
P.S. my friend ashley
has a new blog!!!

Hello blogosphere!
long time no see..
This is a skirt I finally completed a couple of weeks ago..

& a little package for my dear friend Kathleen!

Two weeks ago Ashley and I went to a Titanic museum
in the city with a couple of friends.
The museum was beautiful it had a bunch of artifacts and
a recreation of the grand stair case.
In the begining of the museum you get a boarding ticket and this helps you
find out in the end whether you survived or not( I survived and so did Ashley!).
Although it was sad at some points, I would highly recommend going, it was a very nice experience.
xo -have a nice weekend!

Hey girls!
I haven't been blogging much but it's because I was hard at work on something new!
I'm sure you've heard of Etsy before and for a really long time I've been wanting to open a shop.
Let me just say it was a lot more complicated then I thought it would be
but I finally stoped being lazy and got to it!
Right now im mostly selling jewelry made with new and vintage pieces.
I hope you like them and in case you haven't notice check out the mini Etsy on the side...

There comfortable,
they keep your toes warm,
& there super cute.

I just bought a new pair of over the knee socks
that im in love with (pic 2).
I have no clue how im going to wear them yet
but with the pictures I saw on LookBook,
they would look great with dresses & shorts.
Considering that its getting cold out,
I think these socks will convince me to still wear
some of my dresses in the fall.

I am very excited about
These bookmarks/website link cards I made.
I water colored the edges and used some old string and lace.
It's a lot easier to just give one of these out
to anybody who is interested
in what I do on my spare time.. lol
I made almost 2 dozen
so if you want one just let me know..

..I don't care what nobody says.. Im going to be his lover..

I love it when it rains
It's a perfect time to just stay at home,
have a cup of tea, listen to music and
catch up on some reading.
I listened to Fever Ray's self titled album and a little bit of Grizzly Bear.
On Monday Ashley and I went to see the Kings of Leon.
They played my favorite song 'knocked up' towards
the end and that was basically my highlight of the night.
Well its getting pretty late and i'm very tired
Take care & enjoy the weekend.
