Back to School

I'm really loving all the pieces of the Lauren Maffatt Fall 2011 collection.

Each piece would be perfect for back to school but too bad i'm a broke college student shopping on a budget! School starts this week and I cannot wait to go back to F.I.T. 

I get to see all my friends and explore the city again! Yipee!

 Last week Audrey and I went to go see Death Cab for Cutie in Brooklyn. It was Audrey's first time at a concert and i'm pretty sure she had a blast! At first we unsure of what to wear but after some thinking we both opted for dresses and boots! A perfect combination if ya ask me!

 My mom bought me this top last year when she went to the Dominican Republic and I absolutely LOVE it! I cut and hemmed it to make it more of a crop top and i'm loving the way it came out. 

I'll be sure to wear it this weekend to my friends birthday party!

The bag is newly thrifted, i got it for $2.50!

I made the light denim one for myself and once my friends saw it on me they all wanted one! I think they are a perfect piece to add to your summer wardrobe and a nice way to stay cool! I still have 3 that I haven't finished up just yet, but they'll be finished soon.

A day in Brooklyn.

These are pictures from a trip to Brooklyn my friend Audrey 

and I took a couple of weeks ago.

This was her first time visiting Williamsburg and

 I showed her some of my favorite places.

We both spent a lot of time in a store called Junk looking

 through vintage clothing and old photographs.

I highly recommend stopping by in there, it's a place filled with treasures!

let's go to the beach!

 I went to the "doggy beach" a couple of days ago with Betsy. I love that I can just bring her there and not have to worry about anything, she LOVES the water!
And also it's so nice to see other people with there dogs especially if they are friendly.

I'm wearing a bikini I bought in california a year ago and now I finally decided to wear it!
