and the spring cardigans. Ever since Jenna Lyon took over as creative director and added a little excitment to the once boring old lady clothing line, I've been slowly trying to build up my small

collection of blouses and such!

Last weekend Ashley and I took a little trip to Williamsburg, Brooklyn and we came across many things as always. We went into a store called JUNK and basically that's what they sold.. with a few exceptions. Ashley bought some jewelry and other things that I can't remember. I bought two old photographs dated 1944, a bow tie and both of us got some old albums for our dads.

I love Brooklyn so much! There's always so many things to do.. and I must say we cannot wait to live there together in a couple of years! But for now we'll just have to be content with our short visits there.

Ashley got me these cute boots a while back for like $1 or something and there just so cute.. a little tight but whatever!

I went into the city last Saturday with my dad..

We did some shopping in Chelsea and we stopped by

the Museum of Modern Art. I wish we could have stayed there longer.

It was so much fun.

D.I.Y paper heart garland

Valentines Day is coming up and even though I'm not huge fan of this holiday (I'm sure I'm not the only one!) I made this cute garland yesterday (picture on the right) and it's very easy to make, all you need is some paper and string! So let's get to it!

Start off with 3 pieces of paper. I used some old newspaper, but you can use colorful construction paper, pages from an old book, printer paper, anything!

Then cut them into a shape of a heart. You can draw it first on the paper or just free hand it.

You should now have three hearts in the same size.

Next, fold each heart in half and glue one side of the heart to another half.

Then put glue on the two remaining sides and place the third heart on the sides with the glue on. And now you should have a 3D heart.

Now make a little hole on the upper part of the heart that will be big enough for your string to go through. You can use any type of string, I used pink embroidering string but I think yarn could do to!

And finally string the heart. Repeat this about 10 times try doing them in different sizes. And Viola now hang them anywhere!

And for your special Valentine just cut out a little letters spelling out anything and hot glue them onto the string.. it's a simple way of expression that is sure to impress.. and it's basically free!

Oh my we have a lot of catching up to do..

A couple of weeks a go it was my 18th birthday and to say the least it was very exciting,

I was surrounded by all the people I love and made getting a year older a lot more fun..

As for presents, I got many memorable gifts like a

jewelry making kit, a cool 60's inspired dress, books and more!

My dear friend Shirleen got me these cool headphones

that she knows I've been wanting forever!

One of the gifts that Ashley got me was this book with a little note
inside!

Shes been telling me all about this book so now I can't wait to finally read it!

From my parents I got these beautiful Anna Sui Boots that I've been wanting for the longest time.. there probably going to be the most expensive shoes I'm ever going to have

in my life so I reallyyy have to take care of them!

Recently I bought these black wedges from H&M that I just love!!
